Ways To Give

Many people find themselves wondering how they can make a difference. Whether it’s volunteering for a local organization, helping a neighbor with a needed task or donating to a charity or cause that is important to them, there are many ways to make a meaningful difference in the lives around you. The Maquoketa Area Community Foundation was established with that same idea in mind—a group of caring, concerned citizens organizing a charitable vehicle to accept monetary contributions which would, in turn benefit the many charitable organizations and causes which make Jackson County a great place to live, grow and work. Contributions of all sizes are pooled together to maximize the impact they can have and distributed to the entities doing good work in our communities. You don’t have to have significant wealth to contribute to the Community Foundation. Donations of all sizes make a difference.

The Foundation can accept many types of gifts, such as:

Real Estate
Tangible Property
Securities
Retirement Plan Assets
Life Insurance

Giving is easy. Whether you consider an annual gift or including the Community Foundation in your will, these are types of gifts to consider making today:
